Overview

Camino del Pilar comes from a vineyard of Albillo located in the villages of Cadalso de los Vidrios. Inspired by Jerez and the Jura, Dani and Fer believe that Albillo is an ideal variety for biological aging, and the 2018 Camino del Pilar is their first commercial release proving their theory. The interaction between Albillo and the flor results in a more linear, mineral, and spicy expression of Albillo. Because they were unable to take delivery of a Manzanilla cask in time for aging their first vintage, 2018 was aged first in demijohn before being transferred to cask.
