Made from a mix of old and young vines grown on sandy and chalky soils around the village of Batea and Gandesa, the Garnatxa Blanca from Herència Altés is harvested by hand early to retain the grape’s natural acidity then fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness. Towards the end of fermentation and before the wine is aged, Rafa and Nuria stir the lees briefly to add a little extra weight. 50,000 bottles produced in an average vintage.
