Many rosés are an afterthought or a byproduct of red wine vinification but not at Domaine Saint Nicolas. Thierry Michon has certain plots of Pinot Noir that are selected to make rosé only. The color comes from whole cluster pressing and not by blending or saignée so the Rosé is delicate, pure and refreshing. Best of all it retains the minerality characteristic of these terroirs so close to the Atlantic. Bottled unfined with total sulfites of 30mg/L.
