Overview

The old vine Garnacha vineyards of the Sierra de Gredos may have been lost forever had a band of intrepid young viñateros not rediscovered them. The extremes of elevation and nutrient-poor sandy granitic soils resulted in meager yields but beguiling wines of incredible length and finesse. An early proponent of Garnacha de Gredos, Eric Solomon has partnered with A Pie de Terra to create this custom cuvée that captures the exotic floral aromas, red fruit flavors, and lively minerality that is the essence of mountain Garnacha.
