Overview

Famille Descombe has tended vineyards in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières for five generations. Located just south of Brouilly, their vineyards in Beaujolais-Villages are cultivated in granitic soils, resulting in a more weighty style of Gamay. Each Spring, Eric Solomon visits with Kevin & Marine to select this special cuvée for the US market, one that balances wild blackberry and raspberry fruit with a sappy freshness.
