Overview

Récolte Noire Brut Nature is made entirely from Pinot Noir with a minimum of two years aging in the bottle and bottled brut nature. While most growers would put a Blanc de Noirs at the end of a tasting, Davy puts it near the start as Pinot on Kimmeridgian soils is delicate, filigreed, and mineral. Fascinating to taste side by side with the regular Récolte Noire bottling, which has a dosage of 5g/L, the Brut Nature shows a more forceful and intense expression of Côte des Bar Pinot.
