Overview

Having represented the Sancerre Rouges from Domaine Vacheron and Domaine Claude Riffault for well over a decade, we’re rather picky when it comes to Pinot Noir grown on Kimmeridgian soils. Luckily for us, Bertrand Minchin makes a classic example of Pinot Noir in Menetou Salon that is sourced from scattered plots located throughout the appellation. A long gentle maceration followed by aging in foudres and neutral French oak barrels ensures that it retains that beautiful tension between sweet and tart red fruit flavors followed by a long mineral finish.
