Overview

A few years after introducing the US to Domaine d’Andezon Syrah, importer Eric Solomon tasted a sample of wine from a spectacular parcel of old vine Grenache planted on clay soils covered with up to a meter of galets; which would be developed into “La Granacha.” Created in 2000, its name is a nod to the Spanish origin of this varietal and the name of this variety in the local dialect. A small amount of Mourvèdre is included in the final blend.
