Overview

Purchased by Aimé and Isabel Sabon in 2013, Clos Saint Antonin is situated outside the village of Jonquieres in the region know as Plan de Dieu. Totalling 15 hectares, this nearly contiguous estate is planted to a high proportion of Grenache ranging in age from 40-70 years old. Plan de Dieu is a blend of 60-70 year-old Grenache with 30% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache from a 6-hectare parcel of vines planted next to the ancient farmhouse of St Antonin. The Plan de Dieu is aged in foudre (Grenache) and 225-600L French oak barrels (Syrah & Mourvèdre).
