La Concova is one of José’s larger parcels in San Vicente, the majority of which is used in his village Rioja. José selects a portion of the oldest vine fruit planted on soils with a seam of chalk for the backbone of Camino de Ribas. These vines are primarily Garnacha with 10% Tempranillo, and 5% Garnacha Blanca and 5% other red and white varieties all of which are co-fermented with the Garnacha.
