Overview

ROC is made from two plots of 80-100 year old Mencia vines planted on rocky terroirs of sand and clay near the village of Valtuille de Abajo. These two soil types compliment each other with the sandier soils producing vibrant and aromatic wines while the clay soils bring structure and power to the final blend. ROC is farmed organically, harvested by hand, partially destemmed, and fermented by natural yeasts inĀ open-top oak tanks.
