The Marquis de Beys range represents what has until recently defined modern Lebanese wines and while the darlings in the trade have moved away from richer styles of Chardonnay, there are still proponents of this style. What sets this Chardonnay apart is the unique growing conditions in Bekaa where its high elevation provides plenty of warmth and heat during the day and cold temperatures at night. This results in a Chardonnay with bright acidity married to a rich texture from aging in new and used French oak.
