Overview

Mario Rovira’s second largest parcel of vines is a 2 ha vineyard called Chano Villar. This gentle, east-facing slope of 70 year-old, head-pruned Mencia is planted on a terroir of clay soil over a bedrock of slate at an elevation of 650 meters above sea level.
