Overview

Maquina y Tabla Rueda comes from a single ungrafted vineyard of primarily Verdejo planted on white sand. These vines are thought to be well over 100 years old having survived phylloxera due to the deep sandy soils of the area. Harvested by hand, the clusters are allowed a 36 hour maceration before the wine is pressed and fermented by indigenous yeasts in neutral French oak demi-muids.
