Overview

Named in honor of Laurent Brechet’s daughter, Mademoiselle Tara is three quarters Grenache with the remainder Cinsault. An inversion of the usual proportions for Provencal rosés, Laurent feels that the Grenache grown at Coulerette – all well over 30 years old – makes for a beautifully floral and refreshing style of wine. The light hue and delicate flavors comes from a direct pressing of the grapes while the refreshing acidity is due to the close proximity of the estate’s vineyards to the Mediterranean ocean.
